Wrapped in Nature
Wildcrafted Wearable Art
that rekindles our innate connection with the natural world
The mission of Wrapped in Nature is to cultivate deeper connections between humans and the natural world, inspiring care, stewardship, and protection of the planet we share.
“The imagination is boundless & infinite, a place where everything exists. I soon realized that it’s my inner world that nature has been imploring me to activate in relationship to her.”
What does it feel like to be Wrapped in Nature?
I ask this as I forge a meaningful relationship with the natural world—one rooted in intimacy, reciprocity, and remembrance. Through collecting, building, honoring, and remembering, I make my way back to her using the medium I know best: fashion.
I construct wearable forms from foraged natural materials, creating site-responsive pieces worn on the body and rooted in place. These works are designed to rekindle our innate connection with nature, embodying raw beauty, possibility, and consciousness. Grounded in ecopsychology, they reflect my understanding that time spent in and with nature nurtures both individual and ecological well-being.
Beyond their physicality, the garments invite reflection on origin and process—the materials, time, energy, and quiet conversations involved in working alongside living organisms. Research unfolds through writing, memory, and attentive making, transforming each piece into a vessel of inquiry and connection.
Nature is unlike any human bond I have known. The breath I release is exchanged for oxygen; the more I give, the more I receive. This work seeks to dissolve the illusion of separation and restore a sense of wholeness—offering a love letter to the natural world, and an invitation to journey home.
